Fall Fundraising Forums: Electronic Offertory

On Wednesday, September 19, more than 80 pastors, associates, business managers, and other lay parish leaders came together to hear leading vendors in the field of Electronic Donations—including ParishPay, FaithDirect, and ParishSoft—as well as representatives from Boston-area parishes already participating in Electronic Offertory, discuss its advantages and best practices.

In an increasingly cashless society, Electronic Offertory allows parishioners to set up automated donations to their parishes debited directly from their checking accounts or charged to their credit cards, providing peace of mind and one less thing for families to remember as they’re preparing for Mass on Sunday morning. The benefit to parishes is a weekly offertory they can count on, as well as a demonstrated track record of increased giving. Electronic Offertory makes it easier for parishioners to see where parish giving fits in the bigger picture of their family budget.
